How Do I Subscribe?

You can subscribe to the Almanac Investor by clicking the Subscribe Now link on any page of the site, and on the subscription page, choose the subscription option you prefer. Be sure to review the Terms of Use before clicking the checkbox. When you're ready, click the Purchase Now button.

How Do I Unsubscribe?

How Do I Renew My Subscription?

Log into your Stocktradersalmanac.com account and click the My Account link. There, you will be asked to log in again. After you've done so, you'll see a page where you can manage your subscriptions. To renew, click the Renew Now button, which places your renewal subscription in your shopping cart. Then just follow the instructions for purchasing your renewal subscription.

Please Note: Monthly subscribers are billed perpetually and automatically unless the subscriber switches to an annual subscription or discontinues their monthly subscription.

I am a current Wiley.com customer & I'm having trouble renewing my subscription or purchasing a new subscription.

If you have an existing Wiley.com account, you may have trouble renewing an expired Stocktradersalmanac.com subscription. Please call customer care to renew your subscription. Please have your username ready to give to customer care so that our representatives can help you.

When Will I Start Receiving the Almanac Investor Newsletter and Investor Alerts?

The Almanac Investor Newsletter is sent out monthly, and the Investor Alerts are sent out weekly, usually on Fridays. Since your new account will be set up immediately after you purchase your subscription, you will start receiving the Almanac Investor Newsletter and Investor Alerts with the next issues.

What If My E-mail Is Appearing in a Weird Format That I Can't Read?

You are probably receiving HTML-formatted messages, and your e-mail software probably can read only plain-text formatted e-mails. The Almanac Investor Newsletter and Investor Alerts are sent out only as HTML-formatted messages. In order to view them properly, you will need e-mail software that can read HTML-formatted message.

You can also visit Stocktradersalmanac.com to view the latest newsletter and alert. Just log into your account.

What If I'm Not Getting My Almanac Investor Newsletter or Investor Alerts?

E-mail bounce-backs may happen for one reason or another, such as your e-mail box being full (perhaps without you even knowing it) or your Internet service provider experiencing technical difficulties. You may also have a spam filter enabled in your e-mail client or by your ISP. Try adding "stocktradersalmanac@wiley.com" to your address book. Your e-mail client or ISP shouldn't consider any e-mail from us to be spam.

How Do I View the Almanac Investor Newsletter and Investor Alerts Online?

If you want to read the current issue of Almanac Investor Newsletter or the current month's Investor Alerts online, you must be a subscriber. Just log in to your account and click on the Almanac Investor or Investor Alert tab at the top of any page. You can view the newsletter as a Web page or you can download the PDF version for later viewing. Investor Alerts are not available in PDF format.

To view the PDF version of the Almanac Investor Newsletter, you will need Adobe Reader or another PDF reader. You can download Adobe Reader for free here.

What If I've Forgotten My Password or User Name?

If you've forgotten your password, click the "Forgot Password?" link at the top of any page on the site. Then type in your user name and click Submit. A new password will be e-mailed to you.

Using the Research Tools

Why Can't I Access Some Research Tools?

You need to be a subscriber and logged in to use most of the research tools on Stocktraderalmanac.com. See the "Subscribing to the Almanac Investor Newsletter" section for help in subscribing.

How Do I Get the Data I Need from the Research Tools?

Some of our research tools have parameters that you can set to specify date ranges, sort or order the results in a certain way, and so on. You may also be able to specify which market you want the data for, such as the DOW or NASDAQ. If you see those options, just make your selections from the pull-down menus, radio buttons, or check boxes, and then click the Update button to see a new chart with the data you need.

How Do I Print Out Data Results from the Research Tools?

You can always print the Web page itself. But if you need to be able to manipulate the data, you can download many of the charts in Excel or CSV format. When this option is available, you'll see a Download Report link; click it and Excel should automatically open and display the downloaded data.

How Do I Order Books Online?

You can order books from our Bookstore by clicking the Add to Cart link on the Bookstore main page or on the individual product page for a book. When you add a book to your shopping cart, you will be transferred to the Wiley.com online shopping system to complete your transaction.
